If you're a dedicated member of Bachelor nation, you've certainly watched plenty of dramatic rose ceremonies, exotic group dates, and meme-worthy fights over the years. You've also undoubtedly seen quite a few proposals, all featuring dazzling engagement rings from Neil Lane. Although not every ring is still sitting on the recipient's finger today, we can't help but swoon over the biggest and most expensive Bachelor engagement rings in franchise history. From Rachel Lindsay's pear-cut stunner to Lauren Burnham's cushion-cut rock, let us steal you for a sec as we take a trip down memory lane to look back on the best Bachelor engagement rings of all time.
JoJo Fletcher's Engagement Ring
JoJo Fletcher is the proud owner of not one, but two of the best Bachelorette engagement rings of all time. Her husband, former NFL player Jordan Rodgers, selected a 3-carat Neil Lane oval-shaped diamond ring with an "encrusted band set with over 155 smaller round diamonds," the jeweler told People. She happily accepted, of course, but the ring didn't stay on her finger for long.
In August 2019, Rodgers surprised Fletcher by proposing to her again, this time with his own ring. Rodgers took to Instagram to announce the re-engagement. "I always wanted to re-propose, with no cameras, no producers, no drama...just us," he wrote. In the picture, Fletcher shows off her new ring, which features a trendy oval-cut center stone set on a thin gold band. After postponing their wedding multiple times due to the coronavirus pandemic, they got married in early 2022—and they even made their registry and designed their invitations with The Knot. The pair opened up to us about their experience, and why their extra-long engagement was a hidden blessing. "I don't know if there's anything that could be thrown our way that we can't work through," Fletcher exclusively told us ahead of their wedding. "Six years taught us a lot, and we feel so at peace and prepared—and we're so excited to be married."
Rachel Lindsay's Engagement Ring
Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo have one of the most endearing love stories to come from The Bachelor franchise. Abasolo received Lindsay's first impression rose on the very first episode of their season, and the rest is history. During the finale, he selected a pear-shaped diamond engagement ring set within a halo of 80 round-cut diamonds. The 3-carat piece is set on platinum and diamond band. "I couldn't be happier with how the ring turned out," Lane told The Knot. "Bryan and Rachel have chemistry like fireworks. He knew her dream ring needed the sparkle to match, and he lit up when he saw the final design."
You'll be thrilled to know that Lindsay still wears her Bachelorette engagement ring to this day. Two years after getting engaged, the pair exchanged vows in a glamorous beach wedding in Mexico. Abasolo and Lindsay honored both of their cultures during their oceanside ceremony, which was followed by an epic dance party. "We always said we wanted a wedding where we are bringing two different families together and they are able to celebrate life and love and have the best time doing it," Lindsay exclusively told The Knot. "When we reflect on the entire wedding weekend, that is exactly what happened."
Thomas Jacobs' Engagement Ring
Yes, you read that right! One of our favorite Bachelor engagement rings belongs to none other than Thomas Jacobs. The San Diego-based real estate broker first joined the franchise during Katie Thurston's Bachelorette season—but after his intentions for joining the show were questioned, he ultimately departed only three weeks in. Jacobs returned to the scene during the seventh season of Bachelor in Paradise, where he struck up a quick connection with former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin. Despite ending their relationship on the show, they quickly rekindled their romance off-camera. In May 2022, the announced that they were engaged...but Kufrin tossed tradition by proposing to Jacobs! "The ultimate UNO reverse card / power move," he wrote on Instagram alongside a snap of his ring, which appears to be a thick gold band. "You keeping me on my toes for a lifetime has a great ring to it. Cheers to forever Boops"
Tayshia Adams' Engagement Ring
Bachelorette Tayshia Adams met fiancé Zac Clark during a rather atypical season of the show, which was first interrupted by COVID and later involved a Bachelorette swap in between filming. (Adams took over Clare Crawley's spot after she left her season early with contestant Dale Moss.) After a whirlwind romance, Adams received a sparkling cushion-cut diamond set in a dazzling halo setting during the season finale. Sadly, the engagement was short-lived. After Clark popped the question in 2020, Adams announced their split on her podcast with fellow Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe. "All in all, all I have to say is that I'm heartbroken," she explained. "But, we tried really hard, and I still love him very much. And I'm not sure what the future holds."
Kaitlyn Bristowe's Engagement Ring
Kaitlyn Bristowe received one of the most expensive Bachelorette engagement rings of all time. Shawn Booth selected a 3.5-carat round-cut sparkler set on a twisted diamond-encrusted band, which was reportedly valued at a whopping $150,000. Ultimately, the couple ended their engagement in November 2018. The former Bachelorette opened up about their split on an episode of her podcast, Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe. "It's been a really hard few months now," she said. "I want to reiterate to people, what you saw on social media was real and what we had was real love," she said. "But when it comes to roadblocks, and those fundamental values and getting through things together, I just don't think we were on the same page—and it's painful to admit that. But you need that foundation and you need that partnership if it's going to last forever."
Bristowe has since found love again with fellow Bachelor alum Jason Tartick. (The banker appeared on Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette.) He proposed during a podcast taping with a 5-carat oval-cut engagement ring, and they're currently planning their wedding.
Clare Crawley's Engagement Ring
Despite having the shortest season, Clare Crawley received the biggest (and most expensive!) Bachelor engagement ring of all time. Only a few weeks into the show, contestant Dale Moss popped the question with a 4.5-carat radiant-cut diamond framed by two shield-shaped diamonds. The two left the show early to enjoy their engagement in real life—but after a few tumultuous on-again, off-again months, the couple finally ended their partnership in October 2021.
Hannah Godwin's Engagement Ring
After appearing as contestants on separate seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour eventually found love with each other on Season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise. By the end of the season, Barbour popped the question with a 2.5-carat cushion-cut diamond, which is surrounded by a halo of 20 round diamonds on a pavé band—and Godwin happily accepted. After starting their relationship long-distance, the two wound up quarantining together in Barbour's native San Diego during the coronavirus pandemic. After initially postponing their wedding plans due to COVID, they're currently eyeing a 2023 date.
Becca Kufrin's Engagement Ring
Before she was engaged to Thomas Jacobs, Becca Kufrin once owned a dazzling engagement ring from her time on The Bachelorette. While soaking up the sun in the Maldives, Garrett Yrigoyen landed on a brilliant ring featuring not one, not two but three oval diamonds, totaling at 3.76 carats, perched on an 18-carat yellow gold band. Why three diamonds? "I wanted it to be elegant, quite glamorous and I wanted to use gold," Lane said. "It's a whole different concept—it has three oval stones, which helps celebrate both of them as a couple and the third diamond represents their future together."
Yrigoyen's proposal to Kufrin, who accepted after a "gut-wrenching" decision, was revealed during the season 14 finale. Unfortunately, the two went their separate ways in 2020.
Ashley Iaconetti's Engagement Ring
It's hard to forget Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon's fiery courtship. While Iaconetti had her sights set on Haibon during their first appearance on Bachelor in Paradise Season 2 in 2015, their relationship didn't take off. They reconnected on the show the following summer, which turned out to be even more tumultuous. (You may recall Iaconetti's frequent tearful confessionals about Haibon's unmatched feelings.) That's why fans were taken by surprise when the pair announced they were dating in 2018. After BiP, Haibon revealed that he sent Iaconetti a love letter that ultimately sparked their romance. The spinoff series televised their proposal on Season 4, when Haibon popped the question with a 2.4-carat radiant-cut diamond engagement ring. The two were married in August 2019 and welcomed their first child, Dawson, in January 2022.
Lauren Burnham's Engagement Ring
For his second proposal to runner-up Lauren Burnham—which came after a brief engagement to Becca Kufrin—Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. opted for a cushion-cut center stone surrounded by a diamond halo. The 3.65-carat piece is set on a platinum band featuring 170 smaller round-cut diamonds and two baguette stones on each side of the center stone. "Lauren's ring was one of the most intricate I have ever made for The Bachelor," Lane told The Knot. "It required a great deal of time and attention. The romantic, baguette-cut diamond combined with an elegant cushion is the perfect mix of vintage glamor and contemporary style, much like Lauren herself."
Burnham still wears the ring today, as the couple got married twice: first at their romantic Maui wedding in January 2019, and again at a surprise Vegas ceremony four months after the birth of their daughter, Alessi. In June 2021, the happy couple welcomed twins Lux and Senna.
Vanessa Grimaldi's Engagement Ring
Nick Viall, a mainstay in the Bachelor franchise, landed his own season in 2017. He ultimately proposed to Canadian Vanessa Grimaldi with a 3.75-carat round-cut diamond. The intricate design included a halo setting, which was flanked by two baguette diamonds, totaling 164 round-cut diamonds—making it one of our all-time favorite Bachelor engagement rings. "I just closed my eyes and just envisioned her beautiful face. I knew immediately which one was perfect for her," Viall explained to People at the time. The relationship didn't last long as the couple called off their engagement in August 2017, five months after The Bachelor finale aired.
Lauren Bushnell's Engagement Ring
Lauren Bushnell didn't just rock any Neil Lane engagement ring—her sparkler is the second-largest ring ever chosen out of both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette franchises. The ring was a "4.25-carat art-deco-style ring set with a central radiant-cut diamond and surrounded by over 240 round- and baguette-cut diamonds," People reported. After two years together, including a quick stint on their own reality show, the couple announced their amicable split in May 2017. Over two years later in October 2019, Busnhell wed country singer Chris Lane in Nashville, Tennessee. Higgins went on to marry esthetician Jess Clarke in November 2021.
Whitney Bischoff's Engagement Ring
It's impossible to forget Bachelor Chris Soules' iconic proposal to Whitney Bischoff, which took place in his freezing-cold Iowa barn. He popped the question with a stunning 4-carat emerald-cut Neil Lane engagement ring that had a total of 115 stones on it. But after being engaged for six months, the farmer and fertility nurse split in May 2015. In October 2017, Bischoff married fiancé Ricky Angel in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Andi Dorfman's Engagement Ring
Andi Dorfman once wore one of the most dazzling Bachelorette engagement rings ever: a gigantic oval-cut diamond and a double diamond halo, which was selected by Josh Murray. But, after countless appearances together, the couple called it quits eight months into their engagement. Dorfman recently announced her engagement to Blaine Hart.
Catherine Giudici's Engagement Ring
Longtime fans will remember Sean Lowe's scenic proposal to Catherine Giudici in Thailand. The 3.15-carat Neil Lane engagement ring he chose features a sparkling cushion-cut diamond surrounded by 164 smaller diamonds. Giudici still wears this iconic Bachelor engagement ring today, as she and Lowe happily tied the knot on live TV on January 26, 2014, in a gorgeous ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara. Today, the pair resides in Dallas, Texas, with their three kids, Samuel, Isaiah and Mia Mejia.
Chris Siegfried presented Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock with a memorable engagement ring: it has more than 200 diamonds around the cushion-cut center stone, and an intricately twisted band incorporates both platinum and rose gold. After designing her own line of Maggie Sottero wedding dresses and bridal jewelry, Hartsock and Siegfried swapped vows in a rustic California wedding on January 18, 2015. They're still married today and have since welcomed two children, Asher and Zander.
Ali Fedotowsky's Engagement Ring
When Roberto Martinez got down on one knee, he gave Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky a classic Asscher-cut diamond set on a diamond-encrusted band. Their whirlwind relationship quickly came to an end, as the couple split after being engaged for 18 months. Fedotowsky, now a TV host, is happily married to radio host Kevin Manno, with whom she shares two children.
Trista Rehn's Engagement Ring
We can't not include Trista Rehn's diamond on our list of best Bachelor rings of all time. The very first Bachelorette has the longest relationship to come from the franchise—she and Ryan Sutter have been married for 19 years! But although Rehn was the first Bachelorette to tie the knot, she was also the first to lose her original round-cut engagement ring. For her 10-year wedding anniversary vow renewal, Neil Lane upgraded her to a new emerald-cut diamond surrounded by a halo and twisted band with 208 diamonds in total. And since her favorite color is pink, 16 of those diamonds are pink and sit on each side of the center stone. Today, the happy duo lives in Colorado with their two children, Maxwell and Blakesley.
